Our Scholarship Program
Purpose
Our scholarship program aims to recognize and reward the determination, commitment, and hard work of our orthodontic patients. We understand that education is an essential stepping stone towards a successful future, and we want to be a part of that journey.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Marda Loop Braces Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be current or former orthodontic patients at Marda Loop Braces.
- Be enrolled or planning to enroll in a recognized educational institution (college, university, trade school, or vocational program).
- Demonstrate academic and/or athletic excellence, community involvement or leadership qualities.
Application Process
- Applicants are required to complete a scholarship application form, which can be obtained from our office or downloaded from our website.
- Along with the application form, applicants should submit a personal essay (500-800 words) explaining their educational goals, achievements, and how orthodontic treatment at Marda Loop Braces has impacted their lives.
- Provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or community leader.
- Include transcripts of the most recent academic records.
Selection and Evaluation
Our scholarship committee will evaluate applications based on the following criteria:
- Academic achievements.
- Community involvement and leadership.
- The impact of orthodontic treatment on the applicant’s life.
- Quality and sincerity of the personal essay.
- Strength of the letter of recommendation.
Awards
We are proud to offer multiple scholarship awards to deserving applicants. The exact number and amount of scholarships ($100 and above) may vary each year based on the availability of funds. Scholarship awards can be used to cover tuition, books, fees, or other educational expenses.
